During Welcome Week, an introductory programme for new students of the different departments serves to welcome all first-year students and provides you with information relevant for having a successful start into your university life. You will receive information on additional courses, e.g. tutorials or help to create your timetable and, of course, you can get to know your fellow students.
Participating in the events of the Welcome Week is therefore highly recommended.
The Welcome Week is also called fresher’s week (Erstsemesterwoche) or orientation week (Orientierungswoche).
